We’re Thrive Causemetics
UGC footage is a perfect tool for cosmetic brands to communicate with their audiences. UGC footage is relatable, approachable and it can be forgiving because audiences are generally used to it in the makeup world. But when the footage is explicitly created for other channels, it can be challenging to leverage it for broadcast and connected TV. That was the challenge we had with Thrive's UGC project.
To answer the challenge, we created motion GFX to work in conjunction with the UGC footage and matched that with a VO that introduced viewers to the brand and reinforced key brand messaging. We created a campaign that highlighted the brand, the flagship LLE mascara, and turned those same spots into Holiday versions. All of this was created from content originally created only for social channels.
